CeeNU
CeeNU (Lomustine) is a chemotherapy drug used to treat cancer. This medication works by interfering with the growth of cancer cells in the body, thereby helping to slow down the spread of cancer. Doctors widely prescribe this medication as a treatment for brain tumours and Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It is generally considered to be effective if the cancer has become worse or has failed to respond to treatment with other drugs.
Dosage and Administration
CeeNU (Lomustine) comes in the form of capsules. The dosage required will be determined by the prescribing doctor. In some cases, you may be told to take 2 different strength capsules, or capsules which are of a different colour. Adult patients are normally directed to take it once every 6 weeks, and doctors recommend taking it on an empty stomach. Never increase the dosage or take more of the drug than recommended, as doing so may cause serious side effects.
